Tried to hit the south end this afternoon Looked like it would be a great day with a nice chop on the water. Made it about 250yds from Snodgrass and my motor crapped out. Didn't seem to be pulling any fuel. Ended up trolling straight back to the dock and heading home :(

just a few pictures from this season 34 inches, not clue about the weight 35 inches, not clue about the weight 33 inches, this air this fish caught was incredible 22 and 18 my favorite catch this year. got caught up in tree bumped my lure out and mere seconds upon the lure hitting the water this little bruiser smacked it. took at least 5 minutes getting him landed. a great fight on ultra light tackle

Heck yeah, those are some nice fish! Made it up Saturday night to Pyme, left my battery charger at the cabin so it was a great excuse to go fishing haha. Had the family out crappie fishing on Sunday. Caught 55 crappie, 8.5-13.5 inch. A few nice gills in 7-8.5 inch range, some lil perch, 1 nice bass, an 1 short eye. Some out drifting in 5 fow an some in tight to banks. Kept some of the nice crappie. Rain on the way up an on the way back but stayed dry while fishing so that's always good, expecially with the kids

Saturday night my wife and I caught about 16 bluegills and maybe 4 or 5 perch from our dock using red worms. it's about 1.5 miles south of the causeway on the PA side. Some of the gills were nice sized by my book and one on the perch wasn't bad either. Not bad for an hour fishing. threw then all back to get a little bigger for when my grand niece and nephew come for a visit.

Nice day today. Started with wind out of the south east and crappies were just going nuts. After about an hour and a half the lake went calm and so did they! Picked up again a little later when the wind shifted out of the west. Pretty warm, 81 at 11am. Three little walleyes that we let get bigger, and kept the ten nicest crappie out of 35 Not bad for four hours.

lol thx Forgot two largemouth. I think I would have done better when it went to glass but too many chucklenuts out there. Had a guy in a black alumacraft that could not go from point a to point b without going full throttle. And I love the guys that go by putting up a tsunami style wake, all the while waving at you like you're their long lost buddy. I really need to talk to Starcraft about installing fore and aft tubes......

The doorknobs have been out in full force the past 2 days. I love the pontoon armada a little south of stockers island. I had the area to myself until about 9am when they all showed up.

Congratulations on your catching today fellers, wished I could of been there with yinz but alas, other projects commanded my attention. Dam, I have nooo idea where my wife comes up with her, honeydew list. Brock, sorry I was busy and couldn't get to you sooner, I was going to offer dinner at Carini's Friday night but seeing how you just had fish, wellllll, maybe next time. Last but not least, where would we be without our neighborly "doorknobs"???? Tight lines and good times.

Thanks' Ref , and BTDT , Lots of boats out last night and the bite was slow. Bugs and seaweed are both in full bloom. Lake was dead calm and that's usually not good for Walleye fishing on average. Did manage a few keepers for today's fresh fish lunch, but the action was far and in-between and took lots of casting.. I'm thinking Cajun seasoning today .....and beer ! I got to laugh at how boats gather in areas. Watched one boat anchor all alone, 15 minutes later two more pulled within 100 yds. of him. About 20 minutes here comes two more within 500 yds. of these 3 boats ! Now you got 5 boats all within 500yds. of each other all within about 45 minutes and not one boat has caught a fish ! The rest of the lake is wide open ! All those boats making noise , lights all on , banging gear around , some talking load and laughing , the lake is dead calm with no drift ! After about a half hour they became unglued to each other and slowly drifted away and all was calm and peaceful and the fish started feeding . What a cluster F--K ! And some people wonder why they don't catch fish .....go figure ? LOL !!!

It's been that way the past few days. Not a single boat in the area at 7am then by 8am I counted 10 in a 100 yard stretch that I had trolled when I first got there. I had to laugh when a guy threw out a bouy within a half hour 5 boats had anchored close to it and probably 5 more trolled just past it.

Made it up again Wednesday 5/25. Very nice weather wise, less action that expected. Managed 3 eyes between 2 of us with some nice bass mixed in. Not many total bites which was surprising. I did not catch one bluegill fishing crawlers all day...I had a number of strikes missed which is NOT surprising. Wind was off and on with surface temps staring at 63 but venturing into the 70's by mid afternoon with 73 highest one notice.

I made a fake buoy one year from an old plastic ketchup bottle, painted it fluorescent orange, glued the lid on , snapped a hose clamp on the neck with some old rope, and a big nut for a weight. Unreal what we use to see ! I'd toss it out and take off down the lake and just watch to show ! Had a guy drive over to it, grab it and try to take off ! The rope got wrapped up in his prop and stalled his little motor ! LMAO ! I drove over and told him if you need to steal people's buoy's that bad go ahead and take that one I got about a dollar invested in it ! He was a little embarrassed for his action and apologized ! Took about 10 minutes to unwrap all that line off his prop .

We had a guy in a pontoon run ours over and get it hung up under his boat. I think I've only seen 2 or 3 thrown out the past few years but that's because it attracts doorknobs like moths to a light. If I want to drift something I'll throw one way away from it and know to stay so far inside and watch morons try to get as close as possible to it.

outasync..fished near stocker only mon morn. caught one eye..17 inches. I stayed a little north most of the time. I was following the amish most of the time. spent 3 days following them. let me tell you! they can catch fish. found some great new spots. I don't have downriggers..i looked for you but there were a lot of people further north. Its early..we will hook up! last night my boys and I went out to a spot where this older amish guys had been fishing and catching eyes everyday. we talked 4 times and he was very helpful...then at 8 o clock...the lake awoke w amish and we were surrounded by 12 amish boats..all within 30 yards of each other. we were the only non amish boat. we forgot our lights so I don't know what happened after dark...but I know that is when they are doing best now. lollol... ordered 3 led headlamps when I got home! wife just informed me she wants to go Monday to look at a cottage. I acted like she is putting a burden on me...hehehe...anyone who like pymy knows better..lol

Wife said she wants to go saturday. But she has to be home by 10am so I think I'll be going out solo again lol I fished alot on the west side of stockers on the edge of the weeds almost every time I went across the end of the point I had a fish on. Maybe I'll have to start following the Amish myself since all I'm catching is next year's keepers lol they follow me enough the rest of the year so I might as well return the favor!
