Theyr heeeeere
Got in Tues evening.
All day Wed -even in the rain- LEAVES
Thurs AM= MOWING-even in the wet grass from AM rain
Early Thurs afternoon went upper mid and found a GREAT RUN of Steel Hos and kings=went on for hours till I left before dark. When ya got away from the conga lines the Hos and Steele were happy to play too-Kings although very fresh and healthy looking were more difficult but could be had with patience..
Friday AM a bit higher up and they were still coming in very good numbers-mostly Steel then Hos and Kings in the mix.
Bugged out bout 1 when the weekenders started flocking in, the rudeness was unbearable.
All in all a great trip and my best of the season. Very eager Hos and Steel. Most anything around a size 8 with some sparkle was just fine- just as long as ya got off a bit by yourself where they were undisturbed. Kings were had but took lots of bug changes and patience.
Hey- there are a lot of Hos- not just a few mixed in.
According to the DSR reports it sounds like early to mid SEPTEMBER.
This may well last into November.
Midweek is far and away the best for finding someplace a bit undisturbed were fish act kinda normal and will be agressive.
Cant wait to charge back up.
