get a 10'6 fairly lite noodle rod and 4# Pline or seagar 100% fluro. that vwill get you way more bites than 6# line and with the noodle rod you will have no problem landing fish.

Thank you sir, my little brother has off school the 13th, plan on making a trip up, since we are both rookies, hopefully we hook into a few with the advice you guys gave us! 👍 tight lines everyone!

u will hook into alot more on 4# than you will on 6#. get 100% fluro. it makes a huge difference.

Done caught one on 6x tippet last time. Gotta love it.

Welcome Chet.
Look at the Angler Maps section.
Pick a spot close to the lake.
Come up and fish using the baits, lures, flies mentioned in this thread.
Keep it simple, if you can catch small trout you can catch big trout.
There are no deep secrets here--keep it simple. Watch others.

Lake at Trout Run. Waders. Noodle Rod with 6lb mono. Green powerbait with sinker 12-18 inches up. Fish.
