Replica mounts

Can anyone suggest a good place to get a replica done. I've always gotten skin mounts done in the past but this guy was released.  I'm considering getting one done. Thanks, much appreciated. Jeb

Paul Czarnecki at tri-state taxidermy.  intersection of Lake Pleasant Rd. and Barton Rd. (Majeriks Corners).

I have two done by him, very happy with both fish. I have yet to see a local guy be able to paint a musky as true to life like Joe does.

Expect to wait a year and the mount will run probably around $900 when the dust settles

Nice fish jeb! It's great that a guy would put a trophy fish back. If I ever caught a fish  that I felt was a once in a lifetime for me, I would get it mounted! I wouldn't want to look up at the wall at a plastic thing, that looked like a fish I caught!

I had a fathead made of a couple pictures of huge crappies that i caught. Dont mind looking up on my wall and seeing them to remind me of a great day on the water.

    A Fathead, nice.....
S.Shot: I have skin mounted some fish in the past, but with a big musky like that I think CPR (catch, photo & release) is the way to go unless it's health is in question. Takes a long time for a fish to get that size. Thanks for the compliment, it's my biggest to date. I don't really traget them much thou but we did on that trip.

If you can't find a good taxidermist, I could do a full size oil on canvass for you. It would save you a buck or two as well.
