Loyalhanna & Conemaugh fishermen

For those that don't know, Marshal's market carries minnows now, they are open at 6am during the week & 7am on Sat. & Sun. I know that they also carry canned bait, but am not sure of what else they have baitwise. They also have pretty good food.  sam

Some good news, I haven't been out to Conemaugh but once and the last time I went out there I drove past 6 Bouy's and it was closed.  Happen to know if the quality of the minnows are good or are they mostly what would be considered small?

Fishing guy, 6-bouys has been closed most of the year. Marshal's just started to carry Shiners this past week. they don't have reg. minnows, but may get some in the future. They also carry worms & mealworms, but no maggots or waxies. Thier phone is 724-702-0155. The only place that I know that carries shiners & I think minnows in that area is Stapeltons market in Saltsburg. I think that is the name of the market.  sam

Great news about Marshall's. The other place is Stapleton's like you said. They are located directly across from the Kiski School. It's been a while since I've been in there but in the past he has had an impressive amount of fishing gear.

Thanks for the post, it is appreciated! Now, I will have to buy my son minnows every time I go carp fishing. He wants bass, etc.....
