Bluegills near Connellsville

I really like catching Bluegills. I know about Greenlick, Bridgeport and Virgin Run. They all seem to be putting out smaller and smaller Gills every year. Virgin Run is a total mess and it had the best Gill fishing around at one time. All help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    That's sad to hear about virgin tun...wonder if the article in the paper had anything to do with it?

    Tanner. I never saw the article. What did it say? I never fished Dunlap. Have you or know anyone who has?

    I usually do pretty well on larger gills from shore at Virgin. I have never caught any decent gills at Greenlick or Bridgeport. I've caught nice ones at Donegal and Virgin . The biggest greenies I have ever caught were in the Yough down near McKeesport.
