Conemaugh River Lake Spillway

I stopped by the Conemaugh River Lake to check out the dam on my way home from the city this past weekend.  I'm thinking about fishing the spillway next time i pass through but not sure how to get down there.  i figured i'd ask here before trying to find the path myself. Thanks!

    VJPaczek...I am looking at taking my son there over the long holiday weekend.  I have been reading some good things about the fishing there.  I was wondering if you do get some information on how to get to the spillway if you wouldn't mind sharing that with me via PM to let me know any tips on how to access the area.  Thanks, I appreciate it !

    Why the secrets on public water? Go to the end of the picnic area to park,Then walk down the path to the water,or drive down the road to the underpass parking spot & walk the bank up to the dam.This is easier than driving up over the bridge to the power plant ,then crawling down over the rocks.  sam
