lower twin lakes & mammoth lake

A reminder: fishing at both of these lakes will be closed from noon on Fri. the 9th  (tomorrow) til Sat. even. at 7-30 pm unless you are in that mentored youth program, then it is still closed from noon on fri. til  8am on Sat.   M/O  this wont be pretty.  this also isin effect in other countys besides Westm'd  check you reg.book so that you don't make a drive for nothing.  sam

    Wow!!!! I knew nothing of this...a sick friend has come from WAAAYYY out of town to my place tonight just to spend the day at Twin Lakes fishing..... I am guessing the Upper will be open....Sam...are there any other trout lakes open?...

    Wow!!!! I knew nothing of this...a sick friend has come from WAAAYYY out of town to my place tonight just to spend the day at Twin Lakes fishing..... I am guessing the Upper will be open....Sam...are there any other trout lakes open?...

    Dennis, Because I am sure that quite a few people will show up at both places, unaware of what is going on even tho it has been advertised for a couple of months & there are signs up stating the purpose of the day. Then they will condem every one that they run into. I hope that I am wrong because this was to be a fun day.  sam

    This is the first I've heard of the event.  I haven't been on the water since September tho.  I really need to get out more!
