Great little piece of water.  Water is usually gin clear even after some rain.  I've done well on wolly buggers and egg patterns.  Also had one stellar day on size 18 Griffiths gnat with a hatch coming off.  Little tough to find but usually not many people around.

I agree that it's beautiful water, but other than that, my experience has been very different from avidangler.

For me, the water has almost always had a significant green tint, even after a week of clear weather, only getting extremely clear in the dead of summer.  Done well with para-adams, small sulphurs, big light colored stonefly nymphs, and small streamers.

Almost always plenty of dudes out fishing when I've gone (disappointing after a long drive), and certainly in almost all of the most obviously good spots.  This has led to me going less and less over the past few years...if I want to fish with a bunch of people around, I can do it closer to home.
