not again

This week-end, we got to see a new Eaglet,caught the first crawlers of the Spring, then caught enough Bulls for to-days dinner,then awoke to SNOW ! As much as I like snow,it is time to move on. At least most waters in our area are free of ice.  sam

    My wife and daughter are on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi this weekend for a family wedding.  I sent her a picture of the snow this morning and say, "Stay there."  She sent me back a pic from the beach this morning and said, "I think I will."  
     
    I'm bitter.

    Seriously,I think that this was & is the windiest year that I can remember in a very long time.I was fishing in the rain again yesterday just because I love being out,but it did dampen the experience. Pun intended. lol  sam

    Looks like things only improve from here on out.  Looking at the 10 day forecast, they have 70's predicted for next week.

    Looks like things only improve from here on out.  Looking at the 10 day forecast, they have 70's predicted for next week.


    Ryan, Just my luck,good forcast just as I have to go in for a heart cath. on Tues. oh well.  sam

    Sorry to hear that... best of luck with the testing!  You'll be back out and about in no time though... recovery time on those are impressively quick anymore.

    Mr Crappie everything will go great. I've had 9 since 2003 and am going in for number 10 last part of April. Only hard part is laying PERFECTLY still for 3 or 4 hrs afterwards and they do mean still ! Last one I forgot and moved my leg and poped the plug. Land ed up with a sand on the plug area for 8 hrs. JUST REMEMBER LAY STILL MEANS LAY STILL !

    Ask your doctor to go in from your wrist  I had this done the last time and it worked out good its easy to get your arm still for that long

    Thanks to all that offered encouragement & by p.m. to me. I have had these before ,then triple by-pass about 10 yrs ago. I mainly consider this a inconvenience & wish it would have happened when the weather was worse. Walleye Jigs, I know what you mean about lying still ,to me that is torture. well it is in God's hands one way or another. sam

    I want to thank everyone for their thoughts & prayers,it worked! Procedure went well everything looks good. I will be after the Crappie tomorrow since my spies found them.lol   sam
