High Point

Anyone been at High point recently??? Mondays forecast is 60 and I am off. Hoping to run up and fish for some northerns. Is the ice melted back??
Itchin' to get the lines wet.
Hour and a half ride a waste if I can't launch the boat....

    Somerset is mostly open but I have no idea on High Point.  Maybe try iceshanty.com and ask the question on the Pa fishing reports forum.

    Got up to High point Tuesday... Standing on the south access, looking to the north access, there is 4" of inch to the right. The two coves to the right are also still covered. I was the only one there all day. I managed to catch a 24" pickerel on a large shiner.  Only had wind for 1/2 hour as a squall line went threw, but no rain..... No action on the hunt for blue gills
