sharpsburg boat launch

Drove down yesterday and saw that the docks were in, but they had road closed barriers up across the ramp.  Does anyone know whats going on down there?  I know the slabs were in bad shape last year ...I am wondering if all of the ice this winter messed up the ramp....the bottom slabs were separated by about a foot last year.

    Dug around on google a little more and looks like I found my answer...
     
    "The Borough of Sharpsburg has recently received an award of $15,500 from the Port of Pittsburgh Commission for the purpose of providing a secure docking area for the Fire Departments of Sharpsburg and Blawnox’s Water Emergency Rescue Team.  New docks will be added to the existing docking system at the 13th Street Boat Launch to berth the River Rescue Boat and Jet Skis.  The existing boat ramp will be removed and replaced with a stronger concrete pad.  The entire project will cost $21,000.  The borough and the fire departments are grateful to the Port of Pittsburgh Commission for this opportunity to create a safe water-ways for the public to use."
