Twin Lakes and Mammoth
Is the ice finally starting to recede? I know the last time I was at Donegal about 2 weeks ago it was pretty covered still. Hoping to get some time on the water soon.

That's good news, I've got a bad case of cabin fever, and don't ice fish. If I knew this year we'd have 10"+ everywhere I may have taken it up lol... But, I can at least get some water time before opening day.

I heard Mommoth is going to be shut down for a year or two for dredging. Is this true?

As of Sunday Donegal looked to be still completely frozen (from what I could see from Rt. 31 @the Holiday Inn)

Jug, I just talked to an engineer for the park about Mammoth Lake, he said that the project is on hold due to the fact that so far, all of the bids to dredge it are too expensive, but that they are still pursuing bids. sam

Yeah there was about 30 yards of open water from the bank to the ice this past weekend there, Sunday it glazed over again a little bit to about 20 yards, but it should only be better this week.
