Winter Stocking

Do they no longer do the February winter stocking? I know they used to stock Canonsburg, don't see it on the list, didn't see any others though. Did they stop it all together

Probably due to the new year-round fishing regs on many of the more popular trout lakes in the western part of the state.

    From the regs:
These waters are open to fishing from March 1 through opening day of trout season; however, no trout may be taken or possessed on these waters during this period.

Quick look at the list shows Canonsburg (which you asked about) among most of the more popular lakes in surrounding counties.  Honestly, I had forgotten all about this regulation, but I guess they figure more bang for the buck by stocking in March or April than in February.
