new year cats anyone been fishin

With all thus cold weather and few warm days has anyone got out to target channels since they seem to bite anytime if so speak up.

I'd like to know what lake in SW PA has a good population of catfish in general. I'd love to target some aside from paylakin.

Loyalhanna lake is probably your best bet to get into some nice channels.

As for cats this time of year, I would probably target a warm water outlet on a river somewhere. For lakes after the thaw I'd say arthur, loyalhanna, or yough lake for channels. I also have had good success for channels at tailraces of local acoe lakes shortly after ice out into spring.
