Beagle. Do yourself a favor and don't listen to that guy. He's useless. I haven't been there but I'm certain he's just being an ahole, that's kinda his thing for some reason.

Thanks for the advice Fishinguy. We went yesterday, worth the trip, decent bluegills and a lot of small perch with a handfull of 9-10 inchers mixed in. Perch were on flags with small minnows bluegills came on white ratfinke's with waxies.

I'm planning to head up on Sunday afternoon for a while.  Gonna give it a shot and see what happens.  I'll post a report.

took a few friends out on Saturday 2/1, fished grandmas cove, caught lots of small panfish on a gold 1/100oz jig tipped with single mag or half waxworm. had 10 tip-ups out with large shiners on them but no takers.

I have noticed the pike action has slowed considerably. Yellow creek was always a go-to for lots of action. Mostly smaller pike along any weed edge but occasionally a 28+ incher. The humps on  the west side of the lake by the dam end, the coves by the north shore boat launch, Grandma/grandpa coves, the roadbed from the boyscout camp, the beaches by the swimming area are all good starting places.

a couple of buddies and I fish the hell out of that place in the spring/summer. Decent numbers of smaller pike but nothing with size. the biggest of all last year was like 27ish.

A decent musky can be found cruising the coves from time to time though....if you're lucky

I have got a lot of nice sunfish and panfish from the yellow creek before.  I am living up near Potter County these days and rarely get out with the wife always on my back but this Spring I plan on doing much more fishing.  I need myself a honey that does the fishing thing.

I have come to the conclusion after being away from this site for a few months that certain people on here want every lake of fishing spot to themselves.

I am not gonna drag this out into an argument because I don't even know you but, you are over in the other section saying you don't want anymore people at HPD. Now, we all know what you meant when you said it isn't worth fishing Yellow Creek. You can't have every body of water to yourself. That's all I am going to say.
