According to the model number that is a 1986, 15 hp., 15" shaft with rope start.... price will depend on condition but with the year known you should be able to look up other similar year models on eBay or Google.

I bought a 15 hp 94 Evinrude long shaft with controls in very good condition from the classifieds on this board for $700 for reference. Ebay, Craigslist and others are all over the place on prices. My guess is, you could sell relatively quickly for $500, but could possibly get a few hundred more with patience and selling around May.

jis' sayin' so you dont waste your time chasin' a pipe dream

    Low man, low....

IMO, Porktown is in the ballpark.

Lots of guys out there that have 9.9's that want to go faster but don't want to spend the $ to go up to 20 hp since there are still a lot less of them on the used market and they are priced as such.

Does it run bassboatbill?  Was it maintained well over the years (fogged in the winter or run dry, lower unit oil changed regularly, etc.?  Has a compression test ever been done on it?  Does the Stop button work on it?  If it does, I'll give you $400 for it!
