twin lakes

I was at both lakes this afternoon,very little open water on either. There was a guy on the ice at the upper lake near the pines but on the side that I was on, Ice was only about 1" near the shore,it was more like frozen slush. I don't think that you could even get on the ice Sat.. BTW I went there to get my nite permit. Turns out that you have to get it online or at the Park office on Donahoe rd. You can only get them for one year only, at a cost of $3.There is a meeting for the fishing club this Sun. at 4pm at the boathouse.  sam
