Help with the 20 Mile Creek

Can someone plz tell me what this means?  I fished along an old forum member at the 20 Mile Creek in Erie and he said the reason he doesn't post anymore is because, "They're more like forefathers rather than Indians."  Was a pretty nice guy, but surely smoked some smelly cigars.

what does fishing like the indians mean?  You fellers obviously have a clue.  This kid was saying stuff like that, then when he would hook up with a steely he would yell, "Side Pressureee!"

Some guys would love to help you chrome, However when you go fishing. Somehow you allways manage to put way too may specifics out there about where you catch fish.
Nothing personal. Its just that I have seen you post details and pics of this when nobody around you. Have gone to these spots next day or two and be crowded.
I sometimes like to post reports too. I just don't tell everybody exactly what hole I get them. That way if I want to fish the same hole that week, I have a chance of being alone or at least not crowded out.

It's your fish story,so tell it any way you want!!!

So YOU did, exactly what "the crowd" did.

Liketofish, I'm just impresses as hell with your years, hours, miles, and dollars. However YOU came to this site for a reason, and I doubt it was just to hang around being an arse. Though you ARE very good at it.

Chrome, I am generally willing to share any info I can. The Tomato patch however, is on heavily pressured private land. Access to which is in grave danger of being lost due to angler abuse. So, can't/won't help you there.

Not afriad to man up or pay my dues over here. I dont get to spend nearly as much time as i would like fishing in Erie. When I'm lucky enough to be there i fish from sun up to sun down. I love to fish steelhead and I'm on the quest for chrome enlightenment.

And don't worry the secrets of the tribs are safe with me. I usually practice c+r and even pick up garbage other people left behind. Yea my reports can be a little detailed but I bet the bait shop owners and out of towners love them. I won't blow up anyone's secret spot or get thrown out scouts honor.

NO. I don't do what the crowd does. Sometimes I just get curious and stop by to see whats happening. I walk and search for the smaller pods that I may have to myself. Crowds are out privacy is in for me folks.

I'm actually part of the bait dunkers anonymous club. My assignment was to come on here tonight to admit that yes....I....use bait. (Hangs head in shame)

It all started digging worms out of the garden when I was young, everyone was doing it.
Then it progressed to buying minnows ,I even bought my own bucket to carry them in.
As I got older and began to chase steelhead I progressed into the egg sac craz' often feeling the need to spike them with lil'chunks of powerbait.
My grandfather did his best to turn me into a fly fisherman but I'll always be a  bait fisherman.

Yes, Fair_ro - we "seen" it too.

"I seen" must be a separate class taught in schools in western PA these past few decades -  good Lord.

There is the possibility that it might be something as innocent as a typographical error.

Indians only take what they need. The Russians and Amish, they on the other hand can devastate a fisherie. Or maybe the peace pipe will bring in a fresh run of fish, kinda like a rain dance?
