Barbless spinners.

Just sayin' ......
When C&R fishing for stockies in the lakes or river fishing, I file down the barbs of my treble hooks on my spinners. Much easier to remove and less damage and stress to the fish.
It would be easier to replace them but never found any in the stores.

Its easier to grip the barb with hemos and twist it off. Saves time, just sayin.

Saves even more time to just pinch them down with pliers or hemos.  Don't have to remove them.

Where possible, I have been replacing the trebles with a single hook, this also makes it easier to release fish & seems to result in fewer snags than trebles,& doesn't seem to result in fewer hook-ups.     sam

The rare times that I do spin fish for trout using spinners, small cranks, etc. I always crush the barbs. And recently I've been smashing the barbs on all my bigger crankbaits I'd use for bass, 'eyes, pike, etc. Yeah, you lose more fish, especially if you get an energetic smallmouth or something, but it makes unhooking them a LOT easier, both on the fish and on your clothing, vest/pack, net, etc.

Haven't been able to find any barbless ones(though I haven't really looked for any) but I think it would be easier just to crush them with pliers or file them down.
