What he said, for just about any species.  Pike aren't the most common species around this area either.  Yellow Creek has a decent population.  I caught a bunch in the Fall when I was going to school out that way.  Get some shiners and fish the edges of the weeds, usually find a few at this time of year.  Definitely not a lock.  Then again, that was back in my partying days.

    How 'bout Lake Arthur?

I know nuttin' about pike feeshin, but one evening 2 summers ago doing some catfishing, my now 10 year old son caught two pike.  One on a hot dog and one on a cut bluegill. There's at least 2 dumb ones in there.

Kinda weird to say but I've also herd that Laurel Hill Lake (the state park) has a decent pike population as does Cranberry Glade (if you can manage dealing with the abundant lily growth.)  And then there is High Point Lake which has a pretty good population but it's about 80mi away from you it's close to Yough Lake.  Cranberry is a few mountains over from High Point and Yough as well.  Now if you said Musky then your search would be a tad bit easier.

Yeah skees are stocked most body's around me i just need easy toothys loyalhanna I know is very close to me as well as keystone lock 2 3 4 duck hallow the yough and power dam but not always as easy to get to Bite from shore. Pike are easier and more willing to be aggressive I heard they are in mahoning creek adhere elk dumps in? What about the connemaugh tail waters by the dam. Oh and there are skees in loyal Hanna up by the oasis hole near keystone state park

There are some in the Connemaugh and Loyalhanna. Not sure how many. I saw a few in that tail water pool that you mentioned, probably 15 years ago. I couldn't get them to bite. That water has cleaned up a bit since then, so I've heard. Two Lick near Yellow Creek also has some. We seem to be on their southern boundaries in the Pgh area. So either north or higher elevations for cooler waters.

Take fisherman's trail from the loyalhannah dam to the lake side. I've heard this is good for skis.

Caught some large ones in Big Mahoning in May while others were trout fishin'. That was back in the late 70's though.

I've seen some big ski's in the tailwaters of Mahonning and I've always seen pictures but never witnessed the ski's in Loyalhanna tailwaters or lake.  I've caught about a half dozen pike out of Conemaugh all on the small side (sub-legal.)  Their pretty established it seems in Conemaugh tail waters and it's not like they don't have a good food supply from the gills/trout that are in there (I know someone will probably say "There's no trout in Conemaugh" but I've seen 18" golden rainbows and a few nice browns pulled out of the tail waters.)  There is also Quemahoning (sp) Reservoir east of Jennerstown off of Rt.30.
