Thanksgiving Elk creek trip

Hey guys its about time for out annual thanksgiving steelhead trip to erie. We did very well last year fishing the upper elk. We mainly uses single eggs and minnows. This year I'm bringing the fly rod and am in for an entirely new challenge (I fly fish at home just never had a large rod for steelies). I know I should focus on egg patterns but was wondering what are the essential flies I should tie or consistent hot patterns up there? I'm open to all suggestions as I would like as many options as possible. Thanks a lot

Egg flies, sucker spawns, any kind of streamer that imitates an emerald shinner or a baitfish, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZVkvfBPou0), that's one of my favorites, although I've been using maribou and a chennile body to tie it, seems to give a bit better of a swimming action. Also, a assortment of smaller nymphs will help out with finnicky or suspended fish in low and clear conditions.
 
I'm assuming you have  a place to stay up there set up already? If not, hotel rooms go very quick up there Thanksgiving weekend because of all the people traveling, and they bus people in from Canada to Christmas shop and go to the casinos.
