11/16

Here is my report from Saturday a day late due to alot of work around the house.
Started off at the mid river a bit late as I had to take my sisters kids home.  She is doing well and had kidney stones.    I made it up to my favorite spot and worked it hard without a tap.   After an hour 4 pinners moved in down from me and then another 1/2 hour with 5 people working the run made me leave as no one got a tap.   Funny this is charlie was right up river from me about 1/2 mile doing well.  Moved up to town and had my pick of spots there but again nothing really going on.   I  met Charlie for a bit and we fished I had a bad string of luck.   Had 2 fish in and popped knots both times.   Fished for a while and it was super slow.   After Charlie left I got 3 more takes.   One I   STRAIGHTENED the hook and one my leader must have been nicked so I broke that.   3rd one was a good fight but I lost.   Fishing was slow and my luck was bad.

UHHHHHHHH. Clint I hope your luck turns and the darn nicks and flaws stop turning up at bad times.  It was great fishing with you. I'm also glad your sister is going to be fine. Hope your install went well. I listened to the 'cuse game all the way home. You were really close on your prediction. Hopefully see you soon.
      Have a good trip, Cape.

Charlie the install was horrible and still not done.  Studs were not conductive placing the TV in the center of the mantle and the getting the wiring through the wall was a nightmare. Several holes were drilled and drywall repaired.   Least to say I am not a carpenter.   Just have to get the wiring hooked up in the basement, do some sanding  and the biggest trouble, lifting than **** TV up to the bracket.

I went out to the west friday, fished maxwells and the oak...hit a few kings and a couple of browns, but no water out there makes for rough days
Drove up to the SR friday night and fished saturday, had a monster hen brown to the shore, but no net and shortly she was back in, had a couple of steel break my leader (thinking i need a different leader material) landed one and enjoyed a beautiful november day
Only fished a couple hours sunday morning, but the change in the weather brought a huge change in the fish....played with a bunch, but again didn't bring a net and where i was couldn't easily land them, so most got off with a smile...i did finally catch the hen brown i wanted for eggs
Loads of people, but i had a great weekend just fishin :)

    saturday was slow
i was using a 10 mm orange bead with a black dot on it with either a blue egg sack (with brown trout eggs) or a single soft plastic egg soaked in anise oil
i lost that brown at the bank, and only had 4 steel on all day and the one i landed was a cookie cutter
