wednesday

About 1650cfs when we launched this morning with a light drizzle. Passed 7 boats from the launch to the top of the schoolhouse, let the rods out for the tail of the school no dice, down to the wire and got a good smackdown but didn't stay on. Thru fraziers run and got another smackdown that didn't stay hung 5minutes later this guy stayed on.

Around the bend above the muskrat let them out again and this guy gets his first steelhead and biggest fish of his life and this little piece of chrome did not disappoint put on a display for us then came to net.

Floated to the launch without another strike went 2 for five in 2and a half hours and did it again. Weather got nicer and more boats and people were about now so spots to plug were scarce. Got this last guy down below the root witch owes me a good couple of fish as that hole and the bovines have blanked me so far this year.

I had a great day and it beats work anytime, wont be long and the plug rods will be glowing hot

Well I just woke and it seems I'm in the land of OZ. That's a great day John and I can't wait to get out there now. Beats work hands down but sadly we have a new sheriff at my job and I must wait until 10 am tomorrow to try my luck.
Hammer down at 7 am with visions of chrome in my head.
Hope to see ya Friday :)

The fine art of rowing them  them exploding plugs (at least that's what seems to happen)  at its finest! Good work , John. Hope to see you this month.
