Greenlick

Just came in from the lake, water is very low, dock is out of the water, seen 1 boat & 1 canoe. They put in from the shore line.I am trying to track down a report that I got, that the valve that is emptying the lake is stuck & can't be repaired because the Cnty doesn't have the money. I was told that the intake is too far from shore to fix without draining most of the lake. Where it is located is approx.20ft. deep. I hope that this report is not true. Also the bridge is still closed.  sam

Sam I believe that's the same BS that was going around a few years ago. My understanding of the situation would be more on the order of the water has to keep flowing out of the lake to keep the stream flowing below the dam. But what do I really know?

That was just last year they said that valve was stuck. Supposed to have fix it. Who knows??? When it comes to Greenlick there seems to always be an excuse for everything  that goes wrong but no solution.

I thought the main outlet on Greenlick was the large concrete structure at the dam?  I can definitely hear the water going in there when fishing near it.  I would think there would be a valve on the other side that is easily accessible that could control the flow if need be.  Who knows.
