One of these days !

One of these days I learn to put a tape and scale device in the boat. Against orders I went over to Cross Creek yesterday with thee boat , wanting a little private time to think and play around dragging my hotntots around for crappie. Did very well on the crappie about a dozen before I got to the first cove. But on the way back up from the flats I hooked and landed the biggest bass of my life. I didn't have a tape with me but laid him across my boat seat to take a quick picture. He was longer than my seat was wide, got the pic will down load later, after I got him to the boat I could hardly lift him out of the water. I taking this as a good sign and good luck omen tomorrow I go in to have another stent put in my heart.

Paint rings around your rod at various lengths like 9" crappie,  12" , 16"  etc.  Works great for quick measurements

Best of luck with the heart issue.

As a 5 stent and quad bypass veteran, what you have is not to be fooled with. Get to that surgeon ASAP. The fish will wait.
