Kinzua Creek

I fish the Kinzua tributaries quite a bit in the spring and I've heard mention of browns coming into the creeks (particularly Kinzua) in the fall.  Any truth to this?  If so, does it seem to occur strictly in the fall or are they in there throughout the winter?

thanks for any input

More of a fall spawn run...Might be a few resident Brownies....

The fish Comm. tried stocking brown trout fingerlings in the stream a couple of years ago to see if they could get a return run from the reservoir .  They went back a couple of weeks later to do a survey and found 0 in the main stream but a couple up one of the feeder streams. So they dropped that project.

There will be days when fishing is better than ones optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
