Elk Crik -Fur Reel

I started my fall steelhead fishing today.
Walked from sewer plant to mouth(75% of that stretch skipped some spots)
Saw 12 steelies in 2 holes caught  1 lost 1.
Spunky fish but we need the rain......
Saw 1 caught at Elk access nobody else fishing upstream from there.
I bumped into a beaver(got 5 feet from him)and saw a Bald Eagle.
Highlight of day was catching the 1 fish but close 2nd was listening to a kid say"so all we caught was SILVER HEADS?".
Its early no surprises to me but this rain could get something started.
Theres my report no BS..............

    I was going to head up today but so Glad I did not go!
    Gauges are Blown out and Flood advisories are out for this morning!
    Should be some Freshies moving around today and tonight!

    Fish have been around for almost a month now.
