Fall Perch ??

Do Perch school up in the fall move into the shallow water to feed like Walleye on Pymatuning?
Just wondering if there is such a thing as the "Fall Perch Bite?"

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

They school up Chuckles, but don't necessarily move shallow.
They will move shallow real late in the fall, around inlets, to feed on the bait fish.
Right now, I'd check the deeper water.

Deeper water?
A.  8ft. / 10ft.
B.  15ft. / 18ft.
C.  20ft. / 25ft.+

I love the late Pymy Perch bite! Last year wasn't so good, but some previous years have been awesome! I usually find them in 5-6 fow! Late October, November........last year first day of Buck was the best Walleye and Perch day I ever had at Pymy! That was in 22 fow though! (jigging flat blades!) Jumbo perch as fast as you could get it down, then they would take a break and then the Walleye would move in.........it was somethin' special that day!

I have never fished Pyme for perch in the fall, but have fished Arthur for them in mid November and they were on FIRE. Hammered them in large schools close to shore. Lot's of fun when the wind is not to bad.

Got Walleye???

Depends on the body of water Chuckles...
for Pymie, I'd guess 14-16 right now...just a guess, haven't been out after em.

Now, let's just have the perch cooperate.
