Well freshwaterdrummer, I can say i didnt to too well this trip. Only boated 1 walleye this trip, About 6 sheep head and about 12 silver bass. I believe we had one steelhead strike, based on how violent the strike was, but by the time I woke up my crew to get the rod it was gone. I guess the 3 hour drive up in the morning was too much for them. We marked a ton of fish in the 55 to 60 foot range but they seemed to be mostly junk fish. Didnt mark many fish out in the trench either, if they were there I couldnt find them. Threw everything at them but the kitchen sink. Used mostly reef runners, renoskys and michigan stinger spoons pulled behind dipsys and 5 color leadcores. The one lone walleye came on one of the new rapalla skatter rap minnows about 145' back on a large dipsy with a #3 setting I was trying, the action on that thing is crazy good. Talked to a couple guys at the launch when we came back and they didnt do too well either. The lake was a little rough for my likings, and my trolling direction was pretty much dictated by the wind and waves.
