3rd trip this weekend
First trip after I did all the work to the boat with the carbs.. Kinda nervous but excited..
We're leaving Thursday and coming back sunday. Plan on launching outta Nut and heading north til about 65' and trolling east.
Are they still picking up eye in the 30' area drifting?

Did you take the boat out to the river to run it hard and put the motor through its paces? Throw out a couple poles and troll around for an hour or more too to make sure it handles that as well. Better to stall out and need a tow at Harmarville than out on the lake.

eyes we took it out about 3 times on the river. Still nervous about Erie though because last time I was stuck out there in 70' and 3-4' waves were coming in. Had to say a prayer that day.
We might end up drift fishing I know last time I was there guys were coming in with limits fishing a mile off shore. Ed

I own 0 reef runners so im gonna be looking to buy some if anyone has 5 or so they are looking to sell let me know. will be up Wednesday night now we pushed it ahead a day to try to beat the labor day crowds. Ed
