mckean hole
i drove by the mckean hole last weekend. it looks to me like the dam is gone. if so it will open upper upper elk up to easy migration of stillhead. has anyone else noticed this?

They've been able to traverse past that hole for quite a while now. Not that they do or will.

its been awhile since i stopped by there and i always remembered a dam. why wouldnt they travel upstream? if they swim to mckean why not keep going

That dam wouldnt and doesnt stop them and they would go past the mckean hole but none make it past the mudhole and all the stringers

Erie County. You can catch 22inch 8lb Brownies all year long in this hole... Its almost Too Easy!!!

I got pulled over speeding on 79 last winter. He followed me 6 miles and flagged me at...the mckean hole. Never goin there again. Bad joo joo.

It's the tiger trout that are mutated.Go ahead and keep them they don't spawn. They're sterile.

They is in mckean swarms of russians are snagn away even saw bigfoot with a ugly stick and a size 2 trebble tandom setup he said blue powerbait was working. I saws it every cast he had one. Trust me I'm a fisherman
