Logs Logs everywhere

Some of you are probably aware of the tree sticking out of the water between beach 11 and the point. If this is news to you than be aware...Also I noticed a couple beasts while cruising back to Lampe from the cribs yesterday. A couple hundred yards apart and a little further from shore than the cribs. Hopefully they were working their way to shore...Just wanted to give a heads up.

I see so many folks just cruisin' balls to the walls out there, always gotta watch for debris...

Curiosity killed the cat, but for awhile I was a suspect.

Good call Pie, that one sticking out of the water between 11 and the point has been there since the beginning of june.  back then it was sticking out alot more than it is now and alot more visible, the more water logged it becomes, the harder it is to see.  am i wrong here, or doesn't the coast guard have some sort of responsibility to get out there and move it or at least flag it so nobody kills themselves. i cannot believe they've let this tree linger out there.  it's been there for weeks now, so obviously the one end buried itself in the bottom of the lake, yet all the winds and weather haven't been able to release it so it could at least wash up on shore. BE CAREFUL!!!!!  THIS THING IS MASSIVE.  Going to be fishing tomorrow.  Gonna find it and set a waypoint on my GPS on my way out so I know where it is when I come back in if it's dark.
