Ice fishing on Crooked Creek Lake




Does anyone know if ice fishing is permitted on Crooked Creek Lake?

    I actually live on the lower end of crooked cr. below the lake and personally would suggest against it.  I do not know if you are aloud or not but the lake is fairly small and fluctuates alot so any ice would be subject to cracking and bowing in up and down flows.  The ice could actually be up off the water and would be very dangerous to fish.  Personal opinion would be to stay away or tread with extreme caution...

    I wondered about it. I do a bit of open water fishing there & do fairly well. Thought it would be an awsome icefishing lake. Thanks for the info.

    Just read that today they found the hunter the hunter that went missing in the middle of december deer hunting the backwaters.
