Level of Pyma

Is the water level at Pymatuning back to normal? Maybe heading up there around the first week of Aug. camping with the family and doing some fishing at Jamestown campground.

The water level is much higher than this time last year. With all the rain it is a little bit on the high side.

Water level is fine, and so is the fishing!  I have been hammering walleye on Berkley Flicker Shads and Lindy Shadlings.

Have the water temps been coming down recently, or is that not as big a deal as I imagine?

You've seen the pics before, I'm sure.  Just put a hitch on the back of the camper. Problem solved....

Water takes forever to cool. Your best bet is call Jamestown Boat Livery for accurate water temp. I do in the spring.

You laugh but on any given Sunday you can watch a guy with a van meet the Amish as they are pulling into the docks. He hitches TWO boats up and heads home. Yep the first trailer has a hitch and that's where the second trailer hooks on! Saw this several times at New Bowers ramp
