Pymatuning Bite

My fiancee and I are renting a pontoon tomorrow out of espyvile! How's the crappie and walleye bite been? We plan on fishing south of the causeway past/before the orchard boat launch. Any tips or advice in a pm would be greatly appreciated!!!

The bite has been pretty constant between the islands in 5-15FOW. The hot colors are red, orange, purple, pink, white, chartruese, yellow, and gold (not necessarily in that order). Crawlers, minnows, and artificials are picking up decent fish. Look for structure, weed beds, and flat-bottomed basins.
