Tips for Greenlick

Wheres a good spot to catch catfish at night? Also whats your favorite bait for there? Chicken liver is usually my go to bait.

    Thin sliced chipped ham, chicken livers, cut bluegills, hot dogs

    Somehow my first reply disappeared so,as far as where to fish, we have caught them all over the lake,but I would check where you see others at night regularly,As far as bait, I usualy do very well with cut up gills & sometimes live 4-6" ones also. I don't like  livers because I chew Levi Garrett tobacco & don't like the taste of chicken blood when I put in a fresh chew. lol  when I used to  use liver I would tie some up in mesh like a spawn sac,stays on the hook when cast out, also I believe the mesh gets caught in the fish's teeth long enough to help you set the hook. Also if more people used cut bait you wouldn't have all of those ugly blue platic containers lingering around.  sam
