couple of fish cleaning questions

My family and I are spending a few days in June at a North East motel.  Are there any public fish cleaning facilities in the area?

Might also squeeze in an Edward John excursion.  Anybody know what the going rate is for EJ to clean your perch?

Thanks for the help.
Jerry

There are no public cleaning stations on the east side.

I haven't been on the Edward John in a few years, but I believe it was around 50 cents a fish to have them cleaned on be boat. I believe poor Richards and
East end angler will clean your fish for a fee too. There is no public cleaning stations in pa.

Thanks for the info, guys.  Kinda what I was expecting.  I spend a fair amount of time fishing out of North East and I didn't know of any places either.
I was on EJ twice a few years ago and the cleaning was not included with admission price then.  I'll consider the $0.50 per fish as a necessary evil.

I found Poor Richards cleaning rates here.  East End Angler may be the logical choice due to the location.  I'll give them a call.

i think 50 cents a fish is ridiculous. i realize these kids have to make some money but their technique is terrible.  they slice through the fish with electric fillet knives and in my opinion, leave way too much meat behind. give me an old style rapala blade anyday. hell, i'm so old school, i still scale my perch. but not that old school, as i use an electric scaler made by Bear Paw.  still have my dad's 2 piece hand scalers, they gotta be 50 years old.
