I was at the lake Mon. afternoon trying from shore for gills & Crappie. Water is a couple of feet low & I couldn't find the gills where we usualy do. Last year by this time we were having a ball on Bulls. We have been doing very well at other lakes earlier for Crappies & gills,so much so that I couldn't pick a place that was better than another, including a  lot of slabs. These fronts are screwing everything up as far as fishing goes,at least for me they are.How ever the bass are really slaming topwaters which is great. When I was at Greenlick the grass was up to my waist & the dumpsters were full as usual, but now they have 2 port-o-johns in the parking lot & looks to me like they may be tearing down the restroom near the boat launch.I think that those port-o-johns are going to be horribly hot sitting in the open like that. I think they should be moved near the shade trees. However I will be very surprized if the inbreeds that lurk around there don't destroy them.  sam

Your right Sam, give two weeks or less and the "johns" will be toppled over.

You're right about the gills. This time last year, we were getting a lot of big bull gills. I was at Donegal yesterday and all I caught was a few dinks. I did catch three nice trout and a decent Largemouth though.
