kahle lake

Heading to kahle tomorrow for the first time.  Looking for any info on average depth and if we will have any problems with a 16 ft basstracker on the lake.  Know its electric motor only.  Targeting musky

    Not sure about depth.
    Check to see if the lake is still drawn down for dam repairs. I know in the summer it gets tricky to launch. Use the venango county launch if you are concerned about depth at the launch.
     
    Never fished for musky there - but plenty of good bass to be caught and some jumbo perch.

    This was the Venango launch about 3 weeks ago.....went to check things out , I have a 16' also( sylvan), decided to pass.

    Although there are musky there, it's not a great lake for them. A 16' tracker might have issues launching. I fish that lake a lot. If you go, good luck and let us know how you do.

    Thanks for the heads up on the water level.  Think we are just gonna go hit conneaut to see how many pike we can catch and maybe run into a ski or 2 hopefully.  Hit sugar lake this morning had one ski follow and caught 2 bass one being in the 4 lbs range.
