Glow for Walleye

You know I'd never give you a smart azzed answer, but I've found what ever works best works best... So I would give them a try and see. We've caught eyes on some crazy stuff over the years. Slow day, hey let's try this... Bang... you never know what they'll hit till you try it...

I always run all black dipsys for walleye. Maybe is should rethink that.

I've used some glow beads on worm harnesses on Erie and I feel like they didn't produce as much as the all non-glow beads.  You never know though..stinger came out with some UV spoons last year that I wouldn't mind trying.
 
Dave, I refuse to buy into the "any color as long as its black" for dipsys for the eyes. Actually if any I would say my dipsy's with a white bottom out produce the blacks and metallic.  Last year my girlfriend bought me a deeper diver in barbie color because she thought it looked "pretty".... thing was obnoxious looking, but had an all white bottom.  It noticeably out fished all of my other divers last season. lol go figure.

I've talked to people that completely shy away from glow like Will H and others that say glow works. That's what's confusing.
 
Will H, have you used glow for eyes or are you just going off of what you heard somewhere? Serious question.
 
Bulldog, I imagine your advice is the best I've heard. It doesn't hurt to give it a shot I guess. Everyone talks about F-11 Rapalas for 'eyes at night. I found some that are glow in the dark. I wondered if I should invest in one. I worked some overtime last week. I might spend the $8 and try it out.

I can only speak for shore fishing at night, but I have only ever used rapalas and have done well. But B-dog is right. Start with what you know and if it's slow try it out.

My experience is similar to DCs.  I have glow Renoskys in glow purple and glow orange.  They catch fish, but not noticeably better than silver purple or silver orange.  IMO...it doesn't hurt and it doesn't help.
