East ave boat launch?

East ave boat launch?

Can anyone tell me if the east ave bait shop is open yet and if the east ave boat docks are open as I heard they were being dredged.

    call the bait shop and ask, the same owner owns the one that used to be Smittys. I would imagine so, but not quite sure. Haven't gone out yet, but if it was, just go next door and put in at Lampe. The old Smitty's on state street is open.

    I tried to call the shop on State 3 times yesterday but no one answered. 

    That's weird they didn't answer cause the old Smitty's and East Ave are owned by Randy Daniels and both are open.
    Now I believe the old Smitty's has odd hours, like they don't open as early as fisherman would want. They are later. But the East Ave shop opens early.

    Thanks Pie and Steve for the info.  I reached the State Street bait shop Saturday morning on my way to the lake and was able to launch and buy bait with one stop!
