Keeping Crawlers ??

What do you find for keeping night crawlers alive in for over the summer?
I've been using a mixture of top soil, sand, and coffee grounds.
( I find the fish prefer Folgers  over Eight O'clock or Maxwell House )
Then feeding them corn meal.

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

I've just been using the Frabill worm bedding I got with the habitat box I bought last year. When that stuff is gone I'll probably use pretty much the same thing you are.

I feed mine Maxwellhouse and they seem to like it just fine, but maybe I catching a lower class of fish than you are. :)

Crawler Cabin, hotel, or w/e Frabill calls it and their worm bedding with Fat and Sassy and keep it fairly moist and in the fridge... And some coffee grounds rarely. Just have to change the bedding every 2.5-3 months And wet a paper towel and put 2-4 ice cubes every trip out to keep the moisture.

Refrigerate. Any kinda soil. We feed em potatoe peels, and sprinkle garlic powder on the peels for that extra stank!

Do you just put a hunk of peel in the box Boro?  Or do you cut it into smaller pieces like half the size of a penny or something?

Just whole peels... nothing special. The crawlers we have in their now are probably the same ones from last june. They do great. i think putting them in the fridge is the biggest issue

So maybe keep them in a cool place you say and not the fridge? Seeing as a typical fridge is what 34-38°? And shock probably sets in causing shorter life...
