I lived in Elizabeth when I was a kid which is close o Bunola. Always heard of nice muskies being caught in that area. A big one was found by someone we knew dead and they said it was a really big one but you know how fish stories go. We did see some guys catch some while we were carp fishing. PM if anyone wants a location. I don't want to put something on here and give up somebodies sweet spot.

Your best bet this time of year would probably be around the mouths of tributaries like Ten Mile Creek, Redstone Creek and Muddy Creek.

I forgot to say in my last post that where I used to see muskies being caught while fishing for carp was at the mouth of a small creek in Elizabeth Pa. That section of the Mon has had some nice muskies caught.

Below or above the dam? Always wanted to give this area a shot but usually drove further south instead to some of my other spots.

Below the dam. Just past the bridge there is a small creek. There is also a barge that never moves. You have to park down the back alley behind the BP station. You can't walk from the bridge down since the boat club is private property. If you are in a boat then that is not an issue.
