Long time since I was here.... forgive this dumb question but..

Can I fish for Steelhead on Elk Creek before the Opening Day of Trout season?

    I haven't read the rules this year but in the past you could fish till midnight the Thursday night before the trout opener.  I haven't read or heard any rumors anywhere that it was changed this year.

    doubt that it's changed. stay out of the tribs all day friday, fishing will resume 8 a.m. saturday.
