Peter's Lake Ice-Free?

Title says (or asks) it all. Want to take my kayak out for its maiden voyage, but would hate to lug it out there and be greeted by a popsicle.

Have you caught any decent fish there in the past few years? My son and I used to slam them there a few years ago. We quit fishing it about 3 years ago when it seemed like the lake died. Between that and the idiots that let their dogs swim right where you want to fish.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Nice! Biggest I got there was a 4 pounder about 4-5 years ago. We used to catch pound and a halfers over and over back in the day, it just seemed like it just shut down.
