what's your favorite time of the year ???

what's your favorite time of year  to seelie fish ??
 
without a doubt mine is late Sept/early Oct

    Jan-thats usually when I start my fishing for the season.
    Make a trip up to Pulaski mid Jan for my birthday most years.
    After that fish til May when conditions are good around here.
     
    My favorite type of days are ones like today fished lower Elk only saw 4 other fishermen,90% of the time today no one was in sight.
    Fishing was good in some spots terrible in others managed 20 hookups on steel but suckers are thick.

    mid to late october for amount of fish, 
    dead of winter for amount of people.

    Winter!!! Just cold enough to freeze everything but not so windy that my line turns into a popsicle


    This winter has been great.. I embraced it and it liked me back

    Summer!!!! There is nothing like watching a steelhead slam a rigger rod 65' down then jump 4 feet out of the water seconds later!!!

    Late August-September, the first half dozen are a blast, after that they are almost a nuisance... 

    Curiosity killed the cat, but for awhile I was a suspect.
