Does anyone know if eaton is still iced over or open?

    Fridays report in the paper said eaton still had 10 inches of ice.  take it for what its worth I guess.

    I drove up lastnight to check and see if i could get my canoe out there tomorrow but there was still about 4 guys fishing on the ice and it looked safe. Still have a while to go.

    Any follow up? Don't want to be a paint In the butt, just would like to know of its ice free before making the drive.

    "Eaton Reservoir still has 8 inches of ice at the last report, but fishing has been slow."  =taken from Erie paper fishing report Friday 4/5/13.
