Sugar lake?

When would be the best time to try to get some chain pickerel out of there? Early or late spring? What kind of water depth would the be found in or would the best bet be casting into the cover along shore?

I've heard the color white works well on them

Thanks for any help
Josh

Find weeds. They act like bass and northerns and will hit anything bass will hit. Keep em!!! They are invasive on this side of the state. 18 inches and 4 a day.
