Sparty Swamp

Anyone know if all the ice is gone at Sparty Swamp?

    Still had ice on majorityof it as of Thurs. around 1:00pm

    Might want to ask around before going there.  It is now privately owned.

    Where is this?
    I checked here and it shows many swamps...

    I think they are talking about Sparta Pond aka; Clear Lake.....
     
    The fella that owns or owned if he sold it (Clear Lake) is my neighbor.
    Will have to ask him what's up...

    A friend of mine drives log truck and he was told by some of the truckers that work at Clear Lake Lumber.  I guess some guy bought like 285 acres and that included the entire lake and some surounding land.

    BTW, We were up there Saturday "at Clear Lake Lumber" and I'd say by this weekend there should be no ice.

    Is this private owner true? Bings, I am one of the guys that was up there fishing with you last spring in the rain. Have you fished it yet this year?

    That is quite possible will have to see what I can find out..
     
     
    No, I haven't hit it yet this year. The ice just went off and may not even be off in the back bays....
